About Me

I'm  Amo a qualified CBT therapist working with adults facing anxiety, trauma, depression, or low self-esteem. I offer a safe, supportive space for anyone navigating emotional challenges.

As a woman in her 40s, I also have a particular interest in supporting women through the psychological shifts of perimenopause and menopause as well. 

How I work

I provide remote therapy sessions, offering flexibility and accessibility wherever you are. I am first and foremost a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) , grounded in evidence-based practice. To offer a truly personalised and impactful therapeutic experience, I also integrate strategies and tools I’ve been privileged to train in—including Compassion-Focused and Acceptance and Commitment approaches, as well as mindfulness and chair work techniques. These complementary methods allow me to connect more deeply, understand your unique experiences, and support lasting, meaningful change.

My expertise  and
work  experience

I am a qualified CBT therapist with nearly 10 years of experience supporting adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, and low self-esteem. I provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space for people navigating emotional challenges and seeking positive change.

As a woman in my 40s, I also have a particular interest in supporting women through the psychological and emotional changes associated with perimenopause and menopause.

I also work with individuals in managerial and leadership roles, helping them manage stress, build resilience, improve confidence, and navigate the pressures and responsibilities that often come with senior positions.

My professional background includes working as a CBT therapist in primary care settings, and I currently work at Cardiff University as a lecturer and assessor for the CBT Diploma for professionals.

I am deeply passionate about mental health and helping people improve both their wellbeing and overall quality of life. I understand how difficult, restrictive, and overwhelming anxiety and depression can feel, and I am committed to empowering people through evidence-based therapy, compassion, and collaborative support.
